My plan
Ok so this is my food plan. I have tried to plan weekly and monthly meals by looking at all my recipe books and websites. I would write down what the recipe was called and what book or website it was from then the page number and etc. Basically it took forever and when it came to the day to make that recipe I would dread going on the hunt for the recipe so we would end up eating something that was easier and more convient. That usually means that it wasn't as healthy and now the ingredients that I bought for that recipe was going to go bad. I love to organize and cook and i'm hoping this blog helps to keep me on track with my organized meal plans.
Fisrt I am a week away from having a beautiful baby boy and I also have an amazing little girl. I am only guessing but I don't think i'll have alot of time to prepare and cook food after the baby is born. I am planning on nursing the baby and nursing mothers are supposed to eat around 2200 to 2700 calories a day to keep their energy up and to also keep their milk flow where it needs to be. I remember nursing my little girl and feeling constantly hungry and feeling like I needed to eat everytime I stood up. That was really hard for me because I was hoping to loose weight at the same time. My plan is to start learning the recipes for weight watchers so when I am ready to cut calories I have a plan that I am formiliar with.
For the first week or two after having the baby I am just going to plan on making crockpot meals or something else that is really easy. i also need to make sure there is a good combuination of protein and carbohidrates to keep the energy lasting longer. Also fresh veggies and fruit have more nutrients then processed so i am going to try and stick with fresh.
